Julie Godshall Brown
Owner & President
Julie is the President and Owner of Godshall Recruiting. She has been with her family business full time since 1995 and remained as President and Owner when her parents retired in 2004. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Clemson University and a Master of Personnel and Employee Relations from the University of South Carolina. Prior to joining her family’s business in 1995, she was a Technical Recruiter and HR Generalist with NCR (AT&T) in Columbia and Liberty, SC. In addition to leading her firm and several industry related organizations, she is a very active community volunteer who has made an impact on the future of the Upstate. Outside of leading a company and being a mother and wife, Julie enjoys tailgating and cheering on her Clemson Tigers, traveling, and spending summer weekends at the lake!
Vice President/ Nonwovens Executive Recruiter
Drew Brown joined the Godshall team in 2003 and oversees the Sales and Marketing responsibilities at Godshall. Drew also handles recruiting top tier level talent specifically for the nonwovens industry. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Clemson University, Drew worked for Southern Weaving Company as a process engineer. Later Drew joined a world-renowned chemical company as their sales representative promoting products to the textile and nonwoven industries. Drew is very active as a community volunteer, serving on several Upstate boards. Drew runs the Alaskan Sporting Clay Classic each year to benefit mission work in Alaska and Yukon Territories. When he’s not in the office, you can find Drew at any Clemson related event, golfing, or hunting.
VP of Operations
Ginny Beach has been a member of the Godshall team since 1994. She currently oversees all recruiting and staffing operations for Godshall. Prior to working at Godshall, Ginny worked as a recruiter in the Philadelphia area. She has a master’s degree from the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston. Like a lot of her colleagues, she is also a Certified Staffing Professional through the American Staffing Associate. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of the Upstate, and the Business Advocacy Committee of the Chamber of Commerce. She has also served on the Board of Connections, Women Leaders of the Upstate, and has been involved with United Way’s Success By 6 campaign. Ginny continues to have a passion for understanding the needs of the companies we serve and matching candidates with a great career. In her spare time, she enjoys running, cycling, and spending time with her husband and two children.
VP of Administration
Karen Truesdale has been a member of the Godshall team since 2003. Before coming to Godshall, Karen worked for a national non-profit organization recruiting local volunteers. Today she serves as the VP of Administration, managing Godshall’s support team and internal processes. She has a master’s degree from Converse College and a bachelor’s degree from Wofford College. Karen’s areas of interests outside of work include anything related to dogs, especially rescue organizations as she is a past volunteer with Greenville Humane Society.

Katherine Ericson came to Godshall with over 10 years of experience in marketing for healthcare and commercial real estate in Charlotte, NC. In addition to being a graduate of Wake Forest University, she recently earned her CSP(Certified Staffing Professional) She’s been recruiting for over 14 years now at Godshall and focuses her efforts in Marketing and IT. She is involved in the PMI Palmetto Chapter and the Greenville Tech Marketing Advisory Board. Outside of work, Katherine is heavily involved in Read Up Greenville, an annual celebration of young adults/middle grade books and authors. She believes reading is one of the most important ways to expand the minds of teens!

Michael Bays has been an IT Recruiter with Godshall for 10 years. Originally from Pennsylvania, Michael fell in love with the south while obtaining his BS in Management and MS in Human Resource Development at Clemson University. He then went on to recruit for a software company and was a Director or HR for a computer hardware firm. When he’s not at work, you can find this 2 time cancer survivor cheering on his alma mater and being the best father to his two boys, Lance and Jake.

Chad Hardin has been with Godshall for 7 years. He and his team focus on engineering/manufacturing recruiting for companies located primarily here in the Upstate. With over 12 years of recruiting experience, Chad began his recruiting career in the construction industry recruiting skilled trades professionals for commercial/industrial projects throughout the Southeast. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and sits on several educational advisory boards with technical schools in our area. He is a proud father of two boys (Hamilton & Miles) and husband to his wife, Lindsay, who is a teacher with Greenville County Schools. His hobbies include boating, fishing, and traveling to the beach.

John Riddle has called Godshall his work “home” since 2015. After graduating from JMU with a degree in business, John spent the first 9 years of his career in management and sales before ultimately finding his niche in recruiting in 2011. Currently John serves on the board for Compass of Carolina, an organization providing service to victims of domestic abuse. John has worked on a wide variety of roles including accounting, legal and admin, but his current focus is on manufacturing, construction management and engineering roles. John is not only talented in the physical act of juggling, but somehow successfully juggles between a full-time job and being a husband and father to three boys.

Wendy Blye has 14 years of experience working in human resources and recruiting in the healthcare industry. She joined Godshall Recruiting in 2015 and currently specializes in finding top talent with a focus on healthcare and insurance. She holds an undergraduate business degree from the University of South Carolina-Upstate and recently showed off her multitasking skills by completing her MBA through Clemson University while working a full-time job and being a mom of two. She stays connected with the community by sitting on several collegiate advisory boards throughout the Upstate and is an active member of SCMGMA and SHRA. When Wendy is not traveling for her kids’ soccer games, she enjoys shopping and cooking new recipes!

Before traveling south and joining the Godshall team in June of 2015, Sara previously served as the Director of Marketing and Communication for a non- profit organization with 3 retirement communities and one memory care community. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication and Public Relations from Radford University and has used her wide array of knowledge and industry experience to recruit top talent in both the professional field and healthcare fields. Sara enjoys weekend getaways with her husband, daughter and dog. They love exploring the local area during football season, cheering for the Clemson Tigers and Washington Redskins and is a fan of the Washington Nationals MLB team.

Cathy is a Greenville native who graduated from Clemson with a BS in Business Management. After working for 3 years for Babies R Us in both human resources and inventory control management roles, she joined Godshall in 1999 as a Recruiter and Staffing Specialist. Her primary recruiting focus is in banking, accounting, human resources, legal and administrative placements. She is involved in St. Francis Forum, NALS, Covenant United Methodist Church and Northwood Little League. This breast cancer survivor lives life the fullest by cheering on her two boys in baseball, watching her alma mater play every Saturday during the fall, and splurging on an occasional bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Catherine Culler joined the Godshall recruiting team back in 2000. Graduating from Clemson University with a degree in marketing, she started her career as a District Manager for ADP before moving into pharmaceutical sales. She is heavily involved in the community serving as a member on the Women of St. Francis Foundation, South Carolina Upstate Paralegal Association, and actively involved at her church First Presbyterian. Catherine is a wife and mother to three children, a zealous runner, and a cycle instructor at the Caine Halter YMCA.
Kelly Groom began her career with Godshall in 1998 and has recently returned after taking time off to be with her children. Kelly is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Management/Marketing. She is a wife and mother to two girls, actively involved with the Greenville Chorale, and an avid tennis player.
Recruiting and Credentialing Coordinator
Teri joined Godshall Recruiting in 2016 as the Scheduling Coordinator and has recently been promoted to a Recruiting and Credentialing Coordinator. Graduating from St. Thomas Aquinas College with a degree in Business Administration, Teri started her career in HR with Simon & Schuster. She then moved into the wireless industry, spending many years in HR for Nynex Mobile Communications, SprintPCS, SunCom and Verizon Wireless. She enjoys reading, traveling, the beach, and spending time with friends.
