Q: What is involved in the application process?

Godshall makes it simple! Send your resume through one of our job postings at jobs.godshall.com where it will then be reviewed by a recruiter. If your skills match with our client needs, we will reach out for an interview.

Q: I have never used a recruiting service. How does it work?

You are more than just a resume to Godshall. A recruiter will personally interview you via Microsoft Teams or over the phone to understand your career goals. We work hard to help you find the perfect fit. We collaborate with top local companies, and we’re always looking for in-demand talent. We can also help you in other ways, such as improving your resume, developing soft skills, interviewing tips, and sharing local hiring trends.

Q: How often should I contact your office after an interview?

Sending an email once a month to the recruiter you interview with is a good guideline. You are simply encouraged to stay in touch with our office so we are aware of your availability or if anything has changed in your job search. We will automatically be searching for job matches for you.

Q: What if I am not interested in a position when it is offered? Is it acceptable to turn it down?

If you are not interested in a position, you are free to decline. We will continue to contact you about positions based on your skills and preferences.

Q: What if I am on an assignment and decide it is not for me?

We realize that not every job is a good fit for you and sometimes you do not know that until you have tried the position. If you are on an assignment and find it is not going to work for you, we ask that you contact us immediately. You may be asked to stay at an assignment long enough for us to find a replacement, but we will attempt to remedy the situation as quickly as possible.

Q: I was interviewed. Why hasn’t anyone contacted me?

There may be several reasons including your experience and education do not match our client’s needs, relevant jobs are out of the salary range you gave us, etc. We receive new job orders every day.
